Consoul (Gjertsen Lacey 2009)
YouTube aka Google has finally decided to extend the limit of their 10 minutes to compete with Hulu and, finally, can I download the movie, which I would consider my best work so far, and certainly most personal film. One of the first real professional short, produced by the crocodile as in Bergen, Norway.
This is basically my first attempt of Shamanism in the video. It is a story of life and death of people said in the video game charts 8-bit.
I did it in one year, about half with my best friend Trygve Knudsen, who made the 3D - sequences. I did all the 8-bit shit:) I have worked on and off with her in February 2008 and ended in January 2009. Was to be a series of film festivals around the world, and the beginning of a 35 mm film with surround sound (in a penalty during the sequence - 3D). Therefore, it can be seen as a bit sloooow, but fuck you and the Internet over your interest in this issue: P
Design things 8-bit in Photoshop and animated in After Effects. I downloaded the emulator for the Amiga, Sega, Nintendo, and so on, had to play a load of crap games to watch the game graphics and inspiration. It was light enough to be paid for that:) and composed music with FL Studio.
There are many references to people and movies, not to mention video games, which have helped inspire wise, and if you put annotations, you'll have revealed everything:)
