Yuri was born in the village of Norshteyn Andreyevka, Penza Oblast, during the evacuation of his parents in World War II. He grew up in the suburbs Roshcha Maryina Moscow. After graduating from art school, I found Norshteyn first job in a factory for furniture. Then complete the cycle animation of two years, I found a job in Soyuzmultfilm studio in 1961. Participated in the first film animation, who said "meow"? (1962).
After working as an artist in some of the animation film session, was Norshteyn the opportunity to direct his country. In 1968 he made his debut October 25 on the first day, and sharing credit with the Director Arkady Tyurin. The film uses art from artists Altman 1920s in the Soviet era and Petrov Vodkin.
The next movie, which had a big role in the battle Kerzhenets (1971), a co-production with the Director-Russian animation Norshteyn Ivanov Vano - Ivan under which he was working in 1969 at the times of the year.

YouTube aka Google has finally decided to extend the limit of their 10 minutes to compete with Hulu and, finally, can I download the movie, which I would consider my best work so far, and certainly most personal film. One of the first real professional short, produced by the crocodile as in Bergen, Norway.

This is basically my first attempt of Shamanism in the video. It is a story of life and death of people said in the video game charts 8-bit.

I did it in one year, about half with my best friend Trygve Knudsen, who made the 3D - sequences. I did all the 8-bit shit:) I have worked on and off with her in February 2008 and ended in January 2009. Was to be a series of film festivals around the world, and the beginning of a 35 mm film with surround sound (in a penalty during the sequence - 3D). Therefore, it can be seen as a bit sloooow, but fuck you and the Internet over your interest in this issue: P

Design things 8-bit in Photoshop and animated in After Effects. I downloaded the emulator for the Amiga, Sega, Nintendo, and so on, had to play a load of crap games to watch the game graphics and inspiration. It was light enough to be paid for that:) and composed music with FL Studio.

There are many references to people and movies, not to mention video games, which have helped inspire wise, and if you put annotations, you'll have revealed everything:)
